Sea Spurge Working Bee with W2W

Location: Kennett River Mouth

In ongoing efforts to tackle the Sea Spurge infestation at Kennett River, the Wye to Wongarra Landcare Group is hosting a working bee on Saturday, July 19th from 10am–12 noon.

If you can help out, please bring your gloves, eye protection, and a water bottle.

Sea Spurge may look harmless, but it is actually a serious threat to our coastal environment. This invasive weed spreads quickly, taking over native dune habitats and crowding out the local plants and wildlife that belong there. To learn more about the Purge the Spurge campaign click here.

Thank you to everyone who has been working hard to protect our beautiful coastline.
